Nice, pixelfed at it again, proving their plain inability to handle any sort of problem that arises in a softwares liftetime, not to mentioning interacting & threating it's community apropriately.

Now we have an fucking bug where it leaks private messages of other servers it recieves (which is also a flaw in activitypubs design but thats another problem). And their handling of it.... just oooof. Not only a patch level release with over 450 commits that even changes the PHP requirement, not it also is plainly in the commitlog but not the release, so no graceperiod to update or such things....

I just consider now to shutdown my pixelfed instance and post any art I might do in the future just via this instance instead. Saves me a lot of hadache tbh -.-
