Are you feeling overwhelmed? Why not take yourself to a garden or a nearby park where there are plenty of plants to look at and then read a familiar favourite. One small step for a human = one giant leap for humankind. #ReadingInspo #SmallGoals

We don't follow through on goals because our nervous system perceives them as a threat. The bigger the goal, the more danger our body feels it's in. Instead of setting goals that are so far from where you are today, set small promises. Work with your nervous system, not against it.

Using the #AcWriMo accountability to push on for a mini writing productivity win this Friday afternoon.
This has been a good 15minutes-at-a-time project. Picking up a chisel or sledge hammer or hammer drill to finish the day is a nice change of pace.
And you can make good progress, even when it feels like you're not getting very far with each session. A testament to the #smallGoals strategy.
