The White House Chief says that Russian President Vladimir Putin is ready to reach an agreement. “Zelensky needs to get to work and needs to make a deal,” Trump said in an interview with the Politico magazine, returning to the language used during a tense meeting in Washington a year ago, where he and Vice President J.D. Vance publicly rebuked Zelensky. Hinting that the Ukrainian president was in a position of weakness and needed to compromise. “He has even fewer cards now,” Trump emphasized.
Zelensky stated that the United States and its allies in the Middle East are seeking Ukraine’s experience to counter Iranian Shahed drones. The Ukrainian president then explained that several countries, including the United States, had turned to Ukraine to ask for help in defending against Iranian drones.
