Disgraced former Prime Minister #ScottMorrison’s government “is to spend $94m to begin building up a #stockpile of #crudeoil – but will initially store the fuel in the #UnitedStates.”

The location of the storage on the other side of the Pacific Ocean has drawn ridicule from the federal opposition, which says the “bizarre” plan will not help if sea lanes are closed due to global tensions.
