Late on Wednesday, Victorian firefighters were called to a large fire at Viva Energy Group’s oil refinery in Corio, a suburb of Geelong. The blaze is believed to have been an equipment failure. Thankfully, no one was injured.

That’s more than a fair question. It’s a fair question to ask our politicians. Moreover, it is a question for all of us. If #petrol wasn’t putting pressure on the purse. If servicing a #mortgage wasn’t hard for many of us. If buying a #home wasn’t out of reach for a lot of us. If the #costofliving wasn’t a major concern for all but the privileged. Would we tear up our streets until our govt(s) acted to demand an end to #Genocide and #FutileWars?
It is the answer to this question that defines us as individuals and in turn #Australia, like no other will.
Albanese is happy to challenge the status quo, but reform seems a step too far
