That's it. The end of an era.

After over 40 years of working partnership with @StevenKennard , I have today (as of December 31 2024) closed our business.

We were put out of business partly by COVID but mostly by the greed of the insurance company. Well now they don't get any business insurance from us, thanks to their avarice.

But it's a strange feeling. A bit sad.

But no more GST/HST returns to submit! No more vehicle mileage book to fill in on every trip in the car. No more ... any of it! Free!

Material things shouldn't be important, but feelings attached to them have an impact. Almost 20 years ago, my 2 daughters were in university, & their competitive softball careers were over, and my coaching days were done. Or so I thought.
The league asked me to take on the Mite (age 8 & 9) Allstar team for one final season. It turned out to be one of my most enjoyable years in 2 decades of coaching. This mug was one of the team gifts I received at the end of the summer.
