Zwischen Anfang Mai'26 und Ende Juni'27 werde ich viele Orte mit dem Rad in Europa besuchen und hier mehr oder weniger Regelmäßig darüber berichten.

Irgendwann habe ich die Idee eines Sabbaticals aus den Augen verloren. Als ich 2024 meinen Laden geschlossen habe und nach MV zog, hatte ich es mir vorgenommen. Ein Jahr Pause. Ein Jahr Abstand. Durchatmen. Spüren, was nun wichtig ist. Stattdessen bin ich nun im zweiten Job. Nicht zufrieden, angestrengt, müde.

Garmin has stated I've reduced my fitness age from 45 to 43 in the past month. I also went on sabbatical this month. At this rate I'll be a fit 21 year old by the end of 2026 though I'd happily accept a fitness age of 35.

Während mein Chef auf #Sabbatical ist, wurde ich übergangsweise befördert.
Und merke gerade, _wie_ unterschiedlich unsere Arbeitsweisen sind.

Er kennt in der Firma alles und jeden. Low people in high places und so. Wenn er was braucht, geht er über dieses #Netzwerk.

Ich habe kein Netzwerk. Ich verbiege #Prozesse, bis sie tun was ich brauche. Und ChefChef kennt die passenden Leute, um so lange zu eskalieren, bis eine Lösung gefunden ist.
Das heißt aber, das ich mich auf dem Papier an diese Prozesse halten muss.

Und wenn dann die Hintenrum-Leute kommen und von mir weitere Nodes im Netzwerk wollen, aber nie ein Ticket/Demand/whatever geöffnet haben...
tja.

Das is der Grund warum ich meines Cheffes Job nie haben wollte. 🥴

As such, I am looking for people who are voluntary unemployed or on a #sabbatical and looking to live a simple life in rural parts of India. Focus of this #community living will be:

* Healthy and #sustainable living
* Local outreach, education and #skill development
* Encourage locals to adapt #opensource tech and contribute to it
* Fund raising to support local communities and yourself
