Riverdance 30

It was a show of two halves.
For the first half I couldn't help thinking that if Prog Rock had had an opera in the 70s that this would have been it.
Lots of mystic Celtic vibes (and that's not a bad thing).
(I did wonder when Rick Wakeman was going to be wheeled in though!)

The second half was much more contemporary but less coherent with quite a lot of virtuoso tap dancing - very clever but a bit samey.
The Spanish / flamenco segments were very well done.

Overall - a jolly good evening's entertainment. I'd give it 8/10
