My note to you I certainly did not expect to see in print; yet I have not been much shocked by the newspaper comments on it. Those comments constitute a fair specimen of what has occurred to me through life. I have endured a great deal of ridicule without much malice; and have received a great deal of kindness, not quite free from ridicule. I am used to it.

In our quest to end #bullying of the weak, we might have forgotten something.

It's absolute crucial that there's as little bullying as possible. But #ridicule and #shame is also the one thing that works against batshit crazy dominator #narcissists, and even on some variations #psychopathic people.

I think in the old times people did see this aspect of bullying as well. We might have forgotten it.

How do we square these two aspects without hurting those that won't grow up to be nazis? 🤔
