Okay, day 7 of the 10k training schedule requires me to measure the distance I go, so...

What's the best iPhone app for this? I'm looking for something that isn't going to violate my privacy or leak my current location. The closer it is to *just* keeping track of my route and distance, the better.

I don't mind paying a small one-time fee, but I'm not paying for a subscription.

Is there some app to organize "one off" book clubs?

I want to read this philosophy book but don't want to do it alone, would be nice to meet people in the city that are also interested.

Anyone have any good audiobook recommendations in SF/space opera, or police procedural? No sexual violence (or a ton of on-page violence), and preferably something written in the last decade.

(I love Murderbot and The Imperial Radch, but I've already listened to them a zillion times.)

I need to do a bunch of cleaning tonight.

ETA: I'd like to check out a copy from my library.

for reference I'm looking for
- 512GB+ storage
- 8GB+ RAM (preferably 16GB+)
- 15 inches or higher!!!
- something equivalent to or better than a 10th gen i5
- preferably not plastic because I'm scared of it cracking again but still

fingerprint sensor would be really cool but not necessary. I prefer fuller keyboards (i.e. with a numpad) but I could compromise here.

I feel this bit might be a lot to ask but if this can be done for under £800 that would be amazing!!!

Okay Uhh Hmm I took a look and like there seem to be some decent laptops in the £500-800 range but they all seem to have a bit of a downside
