Long term, Apple vision pro and #RealityOS success will depend on devs and the apps on their store. Will the dev & companies use this leverage in their favour for a more fairer AppStore ecosystem?
Probably not.
There will be a race to be first… along with FOMO.
And Apple will yet again hold all the cards again. Just like they do with iOS…
macOS announcement today is prime example of Apple not holding the cards with the introduction of 1st class experience with web apps.
Some more ideas by Dilmer Valecillos of what tools could maybe be expected for AR Headset development from Apple tomorrow.

Rumors for Apple’s #VR are that #RealityOS will interplay nicely with IPad OS which then might (optimistic layman speaking) mean that stuff like the “phone” version of #VRChat could slot into Reality OS using the power or the headset’s rumored M2 chips.
So long as they don’t leverage that to do something stupidly capitalist like blocking themselves out of SteamVR for those who have a nice PC setup already, this could be really cool!
My list of Apple tech that they COULD leverage for an XR visor…

New iPad apps such as Final Cut Pro have an interesting theory behind them, such as https://twitter.com/SadlyItsBradley/status/1655934858307469312
A $3000 realityOS sounds expensive, but it is bargain for creatives as an alternative to buying a Laptop and a Pro Display XDR ($4999) or two Studio Dispays ($1599 each).
If all iOS apps run in an infinite number of virtual displays... Super interesting. Hopefully folks won't use these in coffee shops, LOLz.
