An experimental design, also called an #RCT (randomized controlled trial), means that participants are #randomly divided into a #treatment and #control group. Subsequently, #outcomes are measured for both groups.

2️⃣ #QuasiExperiment
Unfortunately, this random division into the two groups does not always work: in this case, the #outcomes of both groups are measured and compared to the #preexperimental #measurement.
