The idea: do a Crap-doodle every day as I countdown to Samhain & to prove it, inflict the result on the critters & other inhabitants of Mastodon.

Do I believe my brain about sticking to it?

Idea for an ad-blocker: The ads are downloaded, but instead of being shown in my browser they go to an invisible window in the background and get fed random data instead of real info on my browser. That way websites can make money and I still don't have to get distracted by ads. #randomIdeas

Window awnings can help keep your house cool by utilizing the same techniques as passive-solar builds, and some can help protect your home. Speaking from somewhere that gets very big hail, wood or aluminum awnings can save your window glass.

For places with even more extreme weather, there are also “Clamshell Awnings” which are on hinges so they can lower to cover and protect windows.

@aiken Take a ferry somewhere like Alki Beach. Perhaps, hike around downtown ( audio tour). Take a seaplane to Vancouver BC & take the train home on another day... :)
Go hiking anywhere east of Issaquah.

collective habits

Measure individual change, becoming a collective.

Can we visualize the impact our individual actions have?

We often feel individual action does not create any meaningful change, but what if we were able to measure it? What if people self-reported it?
Can we create a system where people can quantify actions to eventually see their impact?
