Commentary ran this afternoon on CBS Radio News to the effect that Trump-Vance - the Dumb and Dumber ticket - see no change with Kamala Harris (Biden 2.0, they say) replacing Biden at the top of the Democratic ticket. She still has to run, they say, on the Biden record, which D&D seem to think is damning. We should do nothing to discourage this overconfidence. That Trump is losing in a poll for the first time in a month (Newsweek) is just a fluke, right? (Heh heh) The longer D&D keep overestimating the number of MAGAholic voters and keep playing hard to that minority of voters, the better.

BtW, NPR News has a decent mobile app.

One of my favorite features on one of my favorite radio stations is Corny O'Connell's "Question of the Day" on WFUV out of New York City. This morning's question had to do with hair. My suggestion was "Are You a Boy or Are You a Girl" by The Barbarians. "With your long blonde hair You look like a girl." It pleases me to say Corny went with it. This track never made the Billboard Top 40 but its memory outlived many records that did. The Barbarians laid some claim to being the first punk band. It definitely came with a garage punk quality. WFUV has a very large audience stretching through a big part of the United States and probably abroad. It is easy to access through its excellent mobile app.
