This week's #GrindayFriday is new 7" EP 'Flayed and Ready' by Boston, Massachusetts' ROTBUS. This is a really deathgrindy bunch of songs, with some great drums, actual riffs, and growly vocals. Oh, and brief, acceptable Spaceballs and Simpsons clips - one of each. This is a fun, weird, brutal, gross ride of an EP. No Time Records is really killing it lately.

It's #ThursDeath, so I suppose I should mention the new LP 'Pain Effulgence' by Boston, Massachusetts' INNUMERABLE FORMS. These guys have been around a while, and I wasn't familiar with them until this year, a few months ago. I listened to their earlier stuff, and it's great, but this new one is EPICALLY good. Super deathy and doomy and dynamics -- everything great about death metal.

It is beyond me to explain the first phrase in the attachment's caption, but otherwise it seems to me this book announcement is likely to interest a lot of people. The Cars remains one of my all-time favorite bands.

Bill Janovitz also wrote a well received book about the great Leon Russell. The author picks great topics.

My latest Buffalo Tom purchase is "New Girl Singing." The official video is well worth seeing. You may come away with a crush on the "New Girl."
