Today is IDAHOBIT. Every time I post about LGBTQIA+ visibility, I receive comments and DMs asking why queer identity should be celebrated, or claiming children need to be “protected” from these conversations.
So this year, I want to share a video that explores not only the social and medical progress around queer acceptance, but also the voices of queer kids themselves—the very children people claim to be protecting—and their real lived experiences.
Listen to why these young people believe queer inclusion, visibility, and awareness matter.
