Semantic versioning of theories? Citable theory objects that are reproducible and published independently of classical papers?
Van Lissa et al. (2025) argue that psychological theories need clearer and more systematic specification. The paper adapts the #FAIRprinciples (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) – well known from open data – to the way theories are defined, documented, and communicated.

As part of the strategic plan linked to the María de Maeztu Seal of Excellence award, the CIMCYC is recruiting a postdoctoral researcher with experience in the field of the psychology of disinformation. This person will be responsible for working with researchers at the center to develop a new line of research focused on this topic, applied to the center's various areas of research where disinformation exists among the non-expert public.
Como parte del plan estratégico asociado al Sello de Excelencia María de Maeztu, el CIMCYC va a contratar a un/a investigador/a postdoctoral con experiencia en el ámbito de la psicología de la desinformación. Esta persona estará encargada de, en colaboración con investigadoras e investigadores del centro, desarrollar una nueva línea de investigación orientada a esta temática y aplicada a los distintos ámbitos de investigación del centro donde existe desinformación hacia el público no experto.

The "you are not immune to false information" effect:
"Results indicated participants were able to detect outliers. Nevertheless, participants’ estimates were still biased in the direction of the outlier, even when they were most certain that they detected invalid information. ... These findings suggest that individuals may incorporate invalid information they meant to ignore when forming beliefs."
