Nicht unbedingt, wie eine neue Publikation in "Nature" zeigt, an der auch der Innsbrucker Ökonom Felix Holzmeister beteiligt war. Eine Re-Analyse von 100 Studien durch 457 Wissenschaftler:innen zeigte, dass die statistische Interpretation der Daten erheblich variierte. Die Autor:innen sprechen sich daher für Mehrfach-Analysen aus.

Registration and abstract submission now open: 1st Interdisciplinary Symposium on Meta Science for Methods Research (MSMR 2026)

How can we improve research on research methods? This symposium will bring together researchers from diverse methodological fields (including statistics, psychometrics, bioinformatics) to discuss how quantitative methods are developed, evaluated, and disseminated – and how these processes can be improved.

Today, the large-scale SCORE program publishes its primary findings—865 researchers examined reproducibility, robustness, and replicability across the social and behavioral sciences, testing how well humans and machines can forecast replication outcomes.
Results are out now in three papers + five preprints published in Nature.
