Learned a new term today: Progressive except for Palestine

Someone being “#ProgressiveExceptPalestine” extends beyond the population of just Jewish folk. Though it is often treated as a #Jewish-only ideology, it is rather rampant. #FreePalestine activists would do well to extend their focus to try to reach out to more than just #progressive Jews. I am not certain how widespread “Progressive except Palestine” Ideology is in #Europe, but if it is as rampant as the U.S., it needs to be a centered problem beyond just one segment. https://www.breakingthesilence.org.il/
Breaking the Silence

Breaking the Silence is an organization of veteran soldiers who have served in the Israeli military since the start of the Second Intifada and have taken it upon themselves to expose the Israeli public to the reality of everyday life in the Occupied Territories. We endeavor to stimulate public debate about the price paid for a reality in which young soldiers face a civilian population on a daily basis, and are engaged in the control of that population’s everyday life. Our work aims to bring an end to the occupation.
