The #Progenitors from #StarTrek #TNG #TheChase really looked like Odo, didn't they?

I would've loved it if they looked straightup like squids or something and say, "Yeah, we're your ancestors. We dug 4 legs, walking upright, different forehead ridges.That's what we designed. These dozen tentacles we shamble about with are fucked up. We wanted to see if we could create an animal that balanced on one leg as it walked along. And we did it!"
