I do not recommend knitting with dark yarn, on 2.5 mm needles, with poor eyesight.
I can see better without glasses (have them for being nearsighted), but since I also have astigmatism it is uncomfortable to not have the glasses on for a longer period.
Oh well, I guess the solution is to get an appointment with the optician, as soon as I am done with my dental treatment and can set aside the money for it.

Counterintuitively, #Mastodon "advanced" UI seems to be best way to keep the "regular" THREE column layout —
why's it called TWO cols in docs?
— when zooming page to +170% AND using #Firefox sidebar

W/O using advanced mode the #responsive compose / search left col disappears, while search lacks right nav col menu entry

On 1920x1080 res laptop the default #font is tiny for ppl w/ #PoorEyesight

Wish default option was more like this screenshot or a TRUE 2-col layout @Gargron
