Według nowego, globalnego raportu zleconego przez Grupę LEGO, coraz więcej rodziców świadomie łączy cyfrową rozrywkę z tradycyjną, fizyczną zabawą, dostrzegając w tym korzyści dla rozwoju dzieci i relacji rodzinnych.

Badanie, przeprowadzone na próbie ponad 17 000 rodziców dzieci w wieku 6-12 lat z 17 krajów (w tym Polski), pokazuje wyraźną zmianę w podejściu do zabawy. Aż 95% ankietowanych zgadza się, że dla rozwoju dziecka ważne jest doświadczanie różnych form aktywności, a ponad trzy czwarte (76%) przyznaje, że aktywnie łączy zabawę analogową z cyfrową w codziennym życiu rodzinnym. To znak, że granica między światem fizycznym a wirtualnym zaciera się, a gry stają się naturalnym elementem wspólnie spędzanego czasu.

Jednocześnie doceniają gry cyfrowe za rozwijanie myślenia strategicznego (62%), umiejętności rozwiązywania problemów (52%) oraz również kreatywności (53%). „Wspólnie spędzony czas z dzieckiem w świecie gier komputerowych może stać się mostem do analogowej zabawy” – komentuje Bolesław Michalski, ekspert ds. edukacji cyfrowej dzieci i cyberbezpieczeństwa.

Badanie podkreśla również rosnącą rolę gier wideo w budowaniu relacji społecznych dzieci. Ponad połowa rodziców (55%) uważa, że gry pomagają ich pociechom nawiązywać kontakty z rówieśnikami, a 51% twierdzi, że dzięki graniu dzieci utrzymały lub nawiązały nowe przyjaźnie.

Co czwarty rodzic przyznaje nawet, że jego dziecko zawarło zupełnie nowe znajomości podczas grania online. Zdaniem eksperta, wiele z tych więzi naturalnie przenosi się potem poza ekran.

Oczywiście, rodzice wciąż mają obawy – główną pozostaje czas spędzany przed ekranem (62% wskazań). Jednak rosnąca świadomość korzyści płynących z mądrego łączenia obu światów zdaje się przeważać. Firmy takie jak LEGO odpowiadają na ten trend, tworząc produkty i cyfrowe doświadczenia (np. LEGO Fortnite, LEGO Voyagers), które zachęcają do płynnego przechodzenia między zabawą klockami a wirtualną przygodą.
