Finally reaching the crags themselves
It was my 50th birthday yesterday, so I did the same walk I did on my 40th - Crinkle Crags in the lake district. The plan was to do Bow Fell as well, as I did on my 40th, but it was incredibly windy and cloudy on the summit so we skipped the bow fell bit.
Incredible day though!
Me again! Superb walk today - Snake Pass to Alport castles. Bloody lovely.
Long time no post! I went on a nice walk though, Hulme End to Wetton Mill, over Ecton Hill.

Pretty damned breezy out there this morning in St Ives
Superb walk along Chee Dale yesterday, east along the river and by the stepping stones, excellent pub lunch at the Angler's Rest and then a stroll back along the Monsal Trail. Always a big fan of the industrial/natural landscape crossover.

Pleasant walk in Derbyshire today, my first proper one since a month of flu followed by chest infection (almost gone now - I managed this walk but had a long nap immediately after getting home!)
The main feature of the walk is that it looks like a hastily drawn cock and balls.
