Attended the Muntinlupa Pelikan Hubs 2025 last Saturday (one of 13 locations in the Philippines). There were over 50 of us. We had lunch, a raffle, an ink bar, and a stamp and sticker station. We each got an ink, a pad and a postcard from Pelikan! Except I did not get the Apricot Achat ink of the year, I got Mandarin (part of the ink assortment our hub received). Pelikan Hubs, a premier pen enthusiast event since 2014, grew significantly in participation despite global challenges. Held in 254 cities, it featured local gatherings, fostering community and engagement through discussions, showcasing pens, and providing exclusive gifts.
That thing where you don’t physically see a friend who lives in the same city as you for six-ish years or so and then see them twice in the same weekend feels “very Portland”.

Pelikan has been facilitating the annual Hubs event since 2014. Friday, September 22nd marked the 8th annual gathering due to a hiatus in 2020 and 2021 brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.
