My 2 problems with #Tiktok are:

1. The #peivacy concerns. People film a lot about their lives, interests, friends, interactions, locations, and habits.

Yes, #Facebook, #Instagram, and #Google do the same. I am not defending them at all, but they are a bit more regulated. Although it isn't bulletproof, because we have proved misconduct in the past, we can at least investigate them.

2. The stupid trends and idiocy that comes with it. People are so addicted to going viral that we have people dancing next to moving cars, eating tidepods, and doing stupid dances in public.

It is also as if their "influencers" are just far more stupid than most other platforms, and most content is so sub-par. A video of someone reading someone else's tweets can reach 1M views, where the original creators get no credit at all.

If you haven't used #GrapheneOS yet, then you owe it to yourself to try out what Edward #Snowden uses every day on his phone. Let's make 2023 the #YearOfPrivacy to combat against the #FiveEyes & the #FourteenEyes alliances ^_^
