La semaine prochaine : Elisabeth Schulthess, engagée aux côtés de Solange Fernex dans les mouvements anti-nuc (et RVF) dans les 70's et encore partie prenante de combat très récemment quant à l'accueil dans la région du Sundgau de personnes contraintes à émigrer pour leur survie.

🫰 Ada ⅘ 🌙I love liquidsoap because paradoxally i feel like it's my own, favorite temporality of livecoding.
Tweaking, writing scripts is so painstaking but I love to take so much time to progress, it's a long run. And meanwhile, just listen, learn, think, write, do your things, swing, stim, wander.
It's interpreter is dramatically slow but as is the experience of listening to a radio station. Taking time, doing something else meanwhile.
I love it as it is: vibing with collective algorithms and their contents on a daily basis, listening to other people's creations assembled quasi-randomly, intertwined with live interventions.
It's an object of agency. It can be such an interface to communicate between different people, to listen to each others, to compose an asychronous ensemble.
Some streams are super small and simple, some very standard yet powerful, some abstract and mysterious. It makes me appreciate genres I wouldn't otherwise.
That's what I love the most with TT-node. Living my life among this collection of sound-machine-creatures. Surely my favorite daily cyborg activity.
Wuhuuuuu just finished giving my first international, radio art workshop at BEK in Bergen, Norway! It was so demanding in terms of preparation, patience, perseverance...
But the result is super rewarding: the 13 participants all liked it, were mega focused and curious. They found it inspiring, exciting and they were happy for their first experience using the command line, on RPis via SSH only to setup stream/FM boxes running linux, liquidsoap, pifm and the TT-node infrastructure.
I'm also glad that we could do it all work without buying so much new stuff even though having to deal with 5 different models was quite challenging...
It's well worth a 17€ (!!!!) IPA by the sea after all these few weeks of stress dealing with administrations, code, hardware... besides all the daily life and projects!
