Gli #Outfield furono un gruppo inglese che fece successo soprattutto negli USA; spopolarono negli #anni80, con la loro canzone feticcio #yourlove: una canzone che sembrava progettata per rendere fruibile col #powerpop idee musicali cmq in origine elaborate, ma da ascoltare in macchina. Inconfondibile l'uso degli effetti reverb and echo per il vocalist #tonylewis, così come i riffetti ripetivi o il drumming da fuciliere, hanno fatto scuola.
