The infancy of one of the greatest bands of all time.
It’s the youthful, scrappy, scruffy XTC; kinds more new-wavey and post-punkish than the latter-day exquisite pop songcraft they’d grow into.
It’s a very fun record, and worth owning for “Radios In Motion”, “This Is Pop” and “Statue Of Liberty” alone.

To like, a bigger group of people than indie rock nerds like myself who know how great her early albums were that more people probably just remember Liz Phair as a one hit wonder on adult alternative radio with a video heavily played by like VH1. This is so strange to me.
