Oso Oso is the stage name for singer-songwriter Jade Lilitri of Long Beach, NY, or the name of the ad hoc band he has put together, all depending on when the question is asked. Whatever the configuration, a key element of that Lilitri's work is the way he blends emo and indie rock into a '90s smorgasbord. His guitar work, which is increasingly gravitating towards grungy alt-rock sounds always had a bit of surf and garage rock leanings underneath. His songs tend to be in the mid to high tempo range, performed in a basic rock trio format. As a songwriter, he has the ability to lock into a catchy melody, working from a clear emo angle with a bit of angularity, which works well with his somewhat jagged delivery.

#OsoOso - life till bones

emo/power pop, long island band doing really catchy hooks. Hints of #Phoenix in there; 5th studio record from them (my first experience with them). Working through the death of one of the band members, at 24, oof.

My toe's tapping, at the end thats what matters, but I probably won't revisit.
