Oso Oso is the stage name for singer-songwriter Jade Lilitri of Long Beach, NY, or the name of the ad hoc band he has put together, all depending on when the question is asked. Whatever the configuration, a key element of that Lilitri's work is the way he blends emo and indie rock into a '90s smorgasbord. His guitar work, which is increasingly gravitating towards grungy alt-rock sounds always had a bit of surf and garage rock leanings underneath. His songs tend to be in the mid to high tempo range, performed in a basic rock trio format.
