North Fork Preservation Association‘All about North Fork weeds,’ May 18, 3-4pm
Our very own Kylie Heikkila, an NFPA board member and Glacier National Park Lead Wilderness Ranger who specializes in noxious weed mitigation for the North Fork, will provide lots of information and “how to” during this one hour lecture. Bring questions! NFPA will provide snacks. Sondreson Hall is located on the North Fork road about 8 miles north of Polebridge on the left.

Michael GrassIn Seattle's Golden Gardens, I came across a garlic mustard pesticide application site while out on a hike.
Via King County's garlic mustard identification and control page: "The fact that it is self fertile means that one plant can occupy a site and produce a seed bank. Plant stands can produce more than 62,000 seeds per square meter to quickly out compete local flora, changing the structure of plant communities on the forest floor."
caffinationBlueweed or viper's-bugloss is both poisonous and a medicinal plant. I guess it all depends on the dose. So don't play with it. It's also considered invasive in a lot of areas. they could all be noxious weeds but it's a fun plant to draw. It gets 1 to 3 feet tall.
