Along with all the lovely natives starting to appear, of course there are the not-so-lovely noxious weeds too

Houndstongue rosettes popping up here and there. Gotta get rid of those. The Mule Deer eat on them and it causes liver failure

About 30 Houndstongue seedlings removed this afternoon. The fight continues

Also carefully bagged some seed heads from last year and pulled up the old stalks.

Saved for a burn offering at a later date. I don't even want to risk putting them in the trash and them eventually germinating in the dump
