First day on new meds

Obviously will see how things go but already I am calm, collected, focused.

Ritalin was different - lots of focus, but like. It had to happen. Lisdexamphetamine (vyvanse / elvanse) put the focus just. There. Available. Useful. I don't have to use the focus on thinking everything through manually to make it happen like with ritalin.

I'm encouraged by the preliminary results, but skeptical of the price tag πŸ’Έ

Me: *reads medication side effects*
The side effects: bloating, "moon face", swollen feet, muscle weakness, eyesight issues, risen heartrate and bloodpressure...
Me: *as the list keeps getting longer, and longer* Oh wow... I really hope I don't get that "moon face", it takes like 6 months to a year for that kind of swelling to go away and I really like my face as is.

Also me: Still worth it though, if the medication works.
