Punk rock’s rebellious anger aimed at the forces of economic and political oppression and its low-fi, DIY aesthetic are among the reasons the genre took hold with some Indigenous musicians. It’s a connection that continues to resonate with both players and audiences. Kristen Martinez (Yaqui and Mexican) is both a punk performer and a graduate student researching the history of the Indigenous contributions to the legacy of punk, one short, loud, and angry song at a time. She is building an archive of Indigenous punk musicians, posters, and performances on social media. We’ll hear from Martinez about her growing archive of Indigenous punk history and what the art form has to offer to today’s listeners.

Imaginons la situation suivante: vous voulez aider une personne dont le système (GNU/Linux) ne démarre plus qu'en ligne de commande. Après analyse de la situation, votre conclusion est que la meilleur chose à faire est de réinstaller le système. Malheureusement, il vous faut effectuer une sauvegarde des données de l'utilisateur et vous n'avez pas de support de stockage suffisamment grand pour cela. Toutefois, vous avez votre propre ordinateur qui, lui, possède assez d'espace pour recevoir la sauvegarde.
Nous allons effectuer la sauvegarde à travers le réseau grâce à nc (netcat) et tar de la manière suivante:
Sur votre machine, vous allez lancer netcat pour qu'il reçoive les données est les sauvegarde dans un fichier appelé backup.tbz. La commande ci-dessous va écouter le port 6999 (choisi au hasard) et enregistrer les données reçues dans le fichier précité.
