In Garfield and Friends, which was from the late 80s, Nermal was a girl cat, and referred to as she/her.

BUT, in The Garfield Show, which is from the 2000s, Nermal was a boy cat and referred to as he/him.

Does this mean Nermal is transgender (FTM)? 🤔
