Odie (stylized in all caps as ODIE) an alternative R&B artist originally from Toronto, with a soft and gentle voice and mostly mellow songs. He is a crooner at his core, but there is versatility in his delivery as he sometimes slides into a kind of Kid Cudi mode in his cadence, but other times taps into West African vocal traditions especially when his music starts drawing inspiration from a light Afrobeat touch. His arrangements are generally pared down, driven by synths, electronic percussion and hand drums. He has a lovely guitar tone that adds quite a bit of flavor to his songs. There is an overall understated quality to his music.
