- And yes I do know *several legit reasons to use #VRAM as voltaile storage - like when one has a shitton of cheap, used #Quadro, #Tesla or #nVidiaGrid cards and wants some non-persisten storage to cache stuff with instead of ruining SSDs with a shitload of IOPS.
Or when you build your own custom minimalist #linux (like I do -> @OS1337) it may come in handy for a non-persistent / forensic setup to be able to just chug' in a old GPU and have a system that verifyably cannot exfiltrate data.
- Something one may want for onsite data recovery of sensitive data...
