I haven't used it in a while myself -- any #Carpentries folks know if it is still alive and kicking? Maybe just having a bad morning?
Freunde der Informatik MainzFür den genannten Einsatz könnte ein Blick auf https://mybinder.org/ (oder eine eigene Jupyter(Hub)-Instanz) lohnen. Jupyter ist auf Julia, Python und R ausgelegt (darum der Name), erlaubt sehr einfach Text und Code zu mischen und Plots direkt einzufügen bzw. sogar interaktiv mit Slidern zu verwenden. Grade Jupyter-Lab ist sehr nahe an einer IDE. Hoffe das hilft.
