Already wasn't sure whether to run the Arc 50 again, or train for a spring road marathon. Think this might tip me towards the latter.

These finish line photos by the incredible Will Harper-Penrose perfectly sum up the #Arc50 for me. Totally broken, but utter joy at having completed the UK's toughest 50 miler.

I could post loads of photos, but they don't convey just how beautiful (and brutal!) the Cornish coast path is.

I could write paragraphs about the amazing team at #MudCrew that put on this fabulous event, but it would always feel inadequate.

And then you read everyone else's stories. Wow.

Yay, managed to get a place on the Arc Of Attrition 50 in January.

Glad I signed up to the waitlist now, I'd kinda forgotten as it's usually huge (over 1,000 I think?) and I didn't expect to get in.

Looking forward to some long, wet, and dark training miles over the next few months.
