Well, since we did the JAZZ TRIO Air earlier in the week, I guess it’s time for the French electronic band Air.

Moon Safari was one of MANY albums I obsessed over in 1997. It was such a killer year for music. Grunge was dead, but rock was doing just fine; between OK Computer, Urban Hymns, Time Out Of Mind, Ladies And Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space, and Dig Me Out just to name a few.

Moon Safari was the soundtrack to many a night of chemical-fueled ribaldry that year. I was 20 years old, partying hard, playing and going to tons of shows.
My life was the physical embodiment of “Sexy Boy”.

It’s impossible for me to hear Moon Safari now and not have some toxic flashback to that time; when I was running through brick walls and looking really good while doing it.

Well, starting to watch Air's Moon Safari gig at the Royal Albert Hall was a bad idea, I don't think there's much chance of going to bed soon, now. 😆 It's a great performance, though. Worth it.
