Sun Wukong, from Journey to the West, is a really cool character so I had to grab a photo with this cosplayer when I saw him. After I got my photos another Monkey King cosplayer came over which made it even cooler. I also tried to do one of the Monkey King’s poses. The first appearance of Ne Zha in a movie was, **to my very limited knowledge,** in the 1965 animated movie ‘Monkey King: Havoc in Heaven’ from the Republic of China. It’s here at 29’38: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a88hCqFbNLk&t=1778 where he fights Sun Wukong (and loses).
