Quiet week this time, only two movies. First a very successful (in the global top 10 money-wise) animated movie. Thought it was ok, but I’ve aged out of this style I think. And the second one is a 2023 documentary about children indoctrination and child soldiers recruitment. Not bad if you’re in a specific target audience I suppose.

The gags in Ne Zha 2 are generally - not always - funny though. What’s also hilarious about it is a specific kind of reception. Like

There are other cultural misapprehension about this movies - including no doubt many, many others that totally get over my frenchman head - but this is the funniest I think.
