I get that he was born in the US. I get it. But he's a citizen of Peru, been living there basically his whole life, doesn't speak English really anymore, gave his speech in Spanish and Italian, is there at the Vatican representing Peru, not the USA. But ppl keep calling him an "American" pope, when he's a Peruvian pope? His ancestry's all over the place, pretty cool.
