Mistral AI's NPM package was compromised

Mistral AI의 공식 npm 패키지 '@mistralai/mistralai'가 최근 공급망 공격으로 인해 악성 코드에 감염된 버전(2.2.2, 2.2.3, 2.2.4)이 배포되어 보안 위협이 발생했다. 공격자는 Node.js 환경을 우회하기 위해 비표준 런타임 bun을 다운로드하여 악성 페이로드를 실행하려 했으나, 일부 환경에서는 페이로드가 누락되어 피해가 제한적이었다. 현재 해당 악성 버전은 npm에서 삭제되었으며, 2.2.1 버전으로 고정하는 등 긴급 대응이 권고되고 있다. 이 사건은 npm 생태계 내 공급망 공격의 심각성을 다시 한번 부각시킨 사례다.
