Despite the announcement on Monday 8 September by the Spanish prime minister, the Council of Ministers has - once again - postponed the approval of a military embargo on genocidal Israel.

With these words, Dr. Shir Hever, Coordinator of the #MilitaryEmbargo campaign of the Palestinian BDS National Committee (BNC), but also grandson of an israeli war criminal, addressed the UN Committee.

He called on states and corporations to fulfill their legal and moral obligations by immediately imposing a military embargo on Israel.

It may take time. But justice is coming. And it won’t wait for permission.

Palestinian civil society is calling for a comprehensive military embargo on Israel to end all this cooperation. This will hold Israel accountable for its crimes and help end them. To reach this goal we must deploy a variety of strategies, including direct action, lobbying and grassroots campaigning.
