1. Took our son ice skating for the first time today, he did so well.
2. Got our Xmas decorations down from the loft, ready to start making some magic
3. For the first time in a long time I can project what the next two to three years of life might look like, and it is hugely comforting.

#art. word of the day is #microjournaling. the age of blog as we know it is over therefore what we have is a bunch of services that we must participate in some capacity for the very many reasons we sign up for them. social media is also very 2.0, twitter is now X and most are becoming paid where, once you spend money it becomes mandatory to then to invest time on that platform contributing to services you are paying for. 2023 is a new year for how to think about writing on the internet.

@TheNurseIsIn @ShaulaEvans @Mrfunkedude Yes! I never would have done that. I thought it was too trivial and boring. But it makes all of the people I see REAL.
I find myself now thinking of what I will write.
I mean, his idea is basically #microjournaling. A wonderful #mindfulness technique.

I've started #microjournaling in Craft, having deleted YouTube from my phone after watching this.* It's proving a very helpful & insightful lil experiment.

Listened to an #ArtOfManliness podcast called “7 journaling techniques that can change your life”.

One idea I really like is micro journaling so I’m going to try that. I also like the idea of making my social apps harder to find, which is related I feel. I’m going to put “notes” in my social app folder & move all my social apps out & hide them in amongst my other apps.
