The band broke up afterwards and unfortunately her r*pe and murder went unsolved for a decade. Have had #SineadOConnor The Lion and the Cobra on repeat the last couple days and keep hearing bits that distinctly remind me of things in the Seattle/PNW music scene in the 90s. E.g. 'oh oh oh oh' in "Jerusalem" starting at 3:06 reminds me of 'oo oo oo oo' in #PearlJam "Jeremy" 2:39, and in "Just Like U Said It Would Be" I can't help but hear #MiaZapata of #TheGits. Lion/Cobra predates both by a couple years, wondering how many in the Seattle/PNW scene were inspired by the album.
