Virginia Republicans this week voted to shelve a bill that would have prohibited authorities from using a search warrant to seize menstrual data stored on a computer or other electronic devices.

Terrible news from #Florida

But also an important reminder to all people who #menstruate that unless it is actually relevant to your needed medical care, that you don't have to (and probably shouldn't) provide this information to your doctor either, because in many states, medical records can be seized by medical licensing boards and other agencies without patient consent, in an appalling number of circumstances.
