Merri-bek council has started a trial closure of Barrow St at Harding St, Coburg.

The closure is to calm traffic on the street to make is safer for people on bikes and children that attend the nearby school.

They announced the closure a week ago so I thought I'd have a look.

They seem to have gone with the yellow paint and small sign approach to road closure which seems very optimistic to me.

I'll have to come check it out during the morning peak to see how well it works...
