I mean, if someone wants to setup like a #nonprofit / #cooperative for such a #radio station, let me know...

  • Cuz I'm shure something like that really could be interesting. ..Espechally with people fleeing the fascist Trump regime wanting to share their stories and also to cather to a more global audience.

I really don't like the fact that besides #PublicBroadcasting there's at best 1 private #USW - #FM radio per city/county and rarely do anything but syncro-transmit the same music on 45 transmitters in #NRW...

And that is really saddening...

Younger generations are no longer captive to the Murdoch media monopoly and are far more sceptical of the neoliberal script. @mativity Brilliant ! People are ditching the old, male-dominated media like Murdoch’s echo chamber and tuning into voices they actually trust — often women, on platforms that aren’t controlled. It’s not just where they get the news, it’s who they choose to hear it from.

Both only do so not out of journalistic conviction but as propaganda tools to claim superiority.

If you're stuck in the #USA or other oligopolic places, consider getting actual #MediaDiversity with #France24 & #DWnews...

And yes, they are at the very least "useful idiots" for Putin's propaganda machine...
